The Best Shape of My Life Challenge- Check In Post

PROGRESS comes from hard work.

I think that is one of the reasons I love the gym so much, and really stick to my commitments.

HARD WORK WILL REALLY PAY OFF. There is NO way around it.

Current Work Out Mode Photo.
I want MORE ab progress :)
Abs = my hardest area to get cut,
so I have been working them extra hard.

I have been doing a great job of sticking with my dedication to
Having a strong back helps with so many things!
I have been dedicating an entire day to back, and I really feel it coming along.

I wanted to do a progress post, and check in.

Indoor soccer season is over for me for now, so I have modified my work outs slightly.
Now I am doing 5-6 days a week in the gym,
with 1-2 days off.

I have been doing the kind of work outs where you feel sore after,
and I've been running at a level to keep increasing my speed,
and hopefully to keep increasing my distance.

I have been doing yoga and stretching on my own,
but I am for sure missing my classes.
I am hoping to find a way to squeeze in my friend Melita's yoga classes every now and then,
and hopefully find a class at my gym that I like too!

Not only has my body been feeling great,
but I can tell that my mood is quite positive as well.
It is SO important for me to stick with my hard works outs in winter,
when the cold weather and lack of sunshine could be otherwise depressing.

Here are some of my inspiration images.

*I should note that I am NOT trying to get "smaller",
or crash diet, or do anything unhealthy.

I LOVE the look of strong and toned,
without trying to be bulky.

A woman can be athletic and strong, and SEXY.
HELLO, of course she can! ;)

I hope you will join in with me on The Best Shape of My Life Challenge.
Tell me- what is your current work out schedule.
AND what are your goals! Do you have any problem areas you are dealing with?
Any toning that you want do to?
Any inspiration to share?!

  4. You go girl! You look awesome...I just did a post on my blog about my exercise experience yesterday. I am really trying to some form of phyiscal activity everyday, not using the "but I chase kids around all day long excuse". Its an easy excuse to use at the end of the day when I am exhausted! I have also decided that since I have been dieting since I have 12(no lie) that this year I will just eat healthy and really tighten up on eating fresh healthy foods :)

Currently my workout schedule consists of...
Monday/Wednesday/Friday: Running (at the gym or at home) or Firm workout video (obsessed)
Tuesday/Thursday: Climbing at the Climbing Gym (works strength like CRAZY!!)
Weekend: Running outside (if I feel like it...)

    So far, so good!!
